Curtis Tackett's fascination and love for photography began as a young adult. For over 35 years he has worked within the photography field, and as a Certified Professional Photographer since 1993. He earned his FSA in 1998, Photographic Craftsman Degree in 2001, Kodak Gallery Award in 2003, and has been published both nationally and internationally. He is also a member of the ASP. Curtis has been recognized as a leader in the Imaging Field. He has shared his insight all over the country teaching and being involved not only in Georgia, but also in Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Professional Photographers of New England, and has spoken at PPA and WPPI Conventions.
As a national award winning photographer, and more recently awarded First Place Georgia Multi-Maker Wedding Album in 2004. He attends over 200 hours of education per year, at many schools and seminars throughout the country. Curtis looks to his peers, print media and classical painters for his inspirations. With the experience, and the ability to give a well rounded perspectives, Curtis brings to the art of photography a high level of skill and insight. He is inspired to capture the essence of every client and to exceed every expectation.
