| Studio Graphics Photography is a family owned business that began in 1996 out of the home of Steven and Sarah Simpkins. Steven, who worked for the public schools in the Midland area, began his business photographing weddings. Steven's interest in photography began at the age of 12 when he discovered a 35mm Argus rangefinder camera that once belonged to his grandfather. Many hours and days were spent taking, developing and printing photographs both in school for the yearbook in Jr. High school as well as in his own darkroom. After studying Graphic Arts for 2 years at Averill Career Opportunities Center (now the Saginaw Career Complex), Steven accepted a position At Saginaw Photo. Shortly thereafter, Steven began photographing weddings for another local photographer in 1985. Studio Graphics Photography moved to its Downtown location on Townsend Street in 2000. After 4 years of steady growth, Steven and his wife Sarah decided to move the business to it's current location.
